The album combines the works of the Wynton Kelly trio, Wynton Kelly, and We4s Montgomery. I am sure that all people who like jazz and like the high-quality, touching guitar sound, will adore the album “Smokin’ At The Half Note” from the very start up to the end. I was personally fascinated with the sound, and I decided to order essay and university essay writing on the subject of the transformative effect of jazz on the 20th century perception in the USA, and whole worldwide culture of music.
I can say that the album is perfect for me, but I can still distinguish several works that especially caught my attention. First of all, it is the sentimental ballad “What’s New” that always makes me think about some nostalgic, sentimental recollections from my past, and places some light sadness on me. Secondly, it is the crazy, delirious “All Blues” that makes my head blow of the variety of sounds, quickly changing swings, and the captivating melodies. “Unit 7” and “Four on Six” also belong to this category, making the mad, furious sounds blow the public. This band surely can swing, and this is the treasure they share with the audience.
